Dr Leinart

Dr. Leinart
Whenever there is a medical emergency chances are that Dr. Leinart will treat you.  She has a great bedside manner and will even flirt with aliens that look like the backside of a compost heap.  She's always bright and cheery.  She practically drips honey and sunshine.  And there is virtually nothing she cannot heal or cure.  This has made her vary popular among the crew and civilians on the Avalon.  Some people even go to see her when there is nothing wrong with them.
Dr. Leinart is sometimes envious and resentful of Dr. Alder.  She grows the marines, instills their skills and ideals and sets them off on their lives.  Then they go off and get hurt, blown up, burned or horribly disfigured and instead of going to her to heal their wounds and repair their bodies, they run off to Dr. Alder to get put back together.  She cares deeply about the marines as if they were all her own children.  This may be because she has never had children of her own.

Image:  The good doctor is achingly beautiful.  She's so beautiful that many people forget things that she tells them.  Men because they are entranced by her beauty and women because they can't help speculating on how she maintains her appearance.  As you may have guessed she wasn't born that way.  She has a 'miracle cream' that she invented that keeps her skin young and which maintains the lifeshaping she did to her face and body.
